Road Safety Audit Stage 1 New Significant Infrastructure

Meraki Alliance undertake over 200 Road Safety Audits a year

Road Safety Audit Stage 1 on a new link road linking into the trunk road network at its southern extent. The new link road will allow a south eastern bypass of Swindon whilst also allowing significant residential and industrial developments along its length.

The scheme includes many new priority accesses from simple junctions to more complex roundabouts. There are a number of new signal controlled junctions also proposed. The scheme will be subject to a 40mph speed limit with multiple controlled and uncontrolled pedestrian and cycle crossing facilities.
