We have been working with Capita on the Safety Risk Assessment (GG104) for the Cambridge South West Travel Hub.
The proposed scheme will see the introduction of a new Travel Hub with circa 2,000 car parking spaces and 500 cycle parking spaces to the West of Junction 11 of the M11 motorway.
This new Travel Hub will be supported by the construction of a dedicated public transport route running along the Northwest boundary of the site, crossing over the M11 motorway via the existing over bridge. This public transport route continues towards the Junction of Hauxton Road and Addenbrooke’s Road before joining the existing public transport route into Trumpington Park and Ride. To accommodate pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians the project will provide a shared use path connecting the A10 Cambridge Road with the A1309 Hauxton Road, passing over the M11 via a new bridge to the North of the existing over bridge.
